TEKKEN 7 CROSSPLAY FULL
only Sony profits from PS+, so players that take advantage of the free version, aren't giving SE money unless they buy the full version. Square Enix already deserves credit handing out large chunks of the game's dungeons absolutely for free. This isn't the only modern game with region lock servers, so dont single it out. the probability of that is really low.Īs a FFCC fan since its debut on gamecube, I feel its better to focus on the positives, adapt, play with same region players, add randoms to friends list that happen to be good players on FFCC, and just enjoy the game.
TEKKEN 7 CROSSPLAY PATCH
FFCC R can't afford such excessive negative overblown criticisms.Īnd you're kidding yourself if you think these complaints are gonna push Square Enix to suddenly patch the game so region free option is added. everytime the game has a 'con' to complain about, the vultures just swoop in to try to derail the hype and reception for the game. I would take competent dependable randoms instead of friends that waste time getting ready and take too many breaks, or completely suck at the game, or really lag the session or get disconnected due to outer region connection incompatibilities.

randoms are people too and what matters with the co-op is playing with others online. and it's gonna be great teaming up with Switch and mobile players. there are alternatives to play with people online. Its a mere 1st world problem not being able to play with other regions in a co-op game. there are still same region friends and same region randoms to play with, which said randoms could become new friends. So yea it sucks for those that have overseas friends, but I think people can get the same region version can play together regardless of location, so that could be an alternative. of course there's no guarantee, especially with wi fi users, but anyways FFCC in same region will have more players to team up with since crossplay between PS4, Switch and mobile is gonna have a great pool of players, even more players than if each platform wasn't crossplay but was cross region supported (like School Girl Zombie Hunter practically has no one online, I have both Japan and NA versions, and my Japanese version can play with any region, which I did online in the 5 players co-op with people in NA, though the game doesn't have crossplay and only on PS4, so its rare to find players unless people network through one of those SG/ZH PSN communities. So its understandable that FFCC wants to try to optimize netcode experiences. there is noticable more lag from outer region players. I play Tekken 7 and sometimes the european/other region hosts kick out whoever is not in their region.
